Waiting for Final Permit Approval to Build New Bohannon Dam

We still need to complete the Incidental take permit (ITP) for the giant garter snake (GGS) with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife. This permitting process has taken a full year to complete. When we have this permit in place hopefully this spring, then we can start construction of the new Bohannon Dam structure. This project is also in part funded (50%) by the Bureau of Reclamation through the WaterSmart efficiency grant.
